GUIDE: SENDING A CLIENT’S EMAIL CAMPAIGN TO NON-VERIFIED CONTACTS
When a client tries to send an email campaign to 1,000 or more contacts who haven’t received a campaign previously, our spam protection filter is triggered. This usually happens when a client has:
- Imported a contact list from a third-party platform, or
- Collected a large number of contacts but hasn’t used email marketing before.
To assist the client, we send the campaign on their behalf from their PhotoBiz or Zibster control panel. Follow the steps below to complete this process:
STEP ONE
CALL THE CLIENT
Reach out to the client by phone and let them know:
“Hi [Client Name], I’m calling to help you send out your email marketing campaign to your list of non-verified contacts. Because this is your first large campaign, we just need to verify a few things with you before we send it.”
STEP TWO
CONFIRM THE CAMPAIGN
Ask the client which email campaign they would like to send.
Go to the Email Marketing section of their control panel to view all saved campaigns.
Before proceeding, review the campaign content to ensure it does not contain any spam-like language or formatting (such as excessive use of all caps, misleading subject lines, or too many links). If anything looks questionable, check with your team lead before sending.
Once confirmed, move on to the next step.
STEP THREE
CONFIRM THE CONTACT LIST
Ask how they want to target their audience. Options include:
- All contacts
- By type (e.g. leads, customers)
- By tag
- Custom list
Make sure the correct contact group is selected.
STEP FOUR
ASK ABOUT EXCLUSIONS
Check if the client wants to exclude any contacts from the campaign. By default, no one is excluded, but they can exclude by:
- Type
- Tag
Once confirmed, review the total number of selected contacts with the client. Then click CONTINUE to move to the next step.
STEP FIVE
FINALIZE THE EMAIL DETAILS
Complete the following fields based on the client’s request:
- FROM NAME
- FROM EMAIL ADDRESS
- SUBJECT LINE
Then:

Check the confirmation box.

Click SEND to send the campaign.
✅ This action also verifies the selected contacts, so the client can send future campaigns to these recipients without restriction.
